New Mac mini application won't start after login (ref#BUFG1M)

· new Mac mini won't accept my log in.. I can log into my account on the website, but the application won't start, latest Roon version, latest OS, latest Mac mini

I cleaned the cache and rebooted

Roon starts and I select my mac as server, asks for login, I input same as i use on other devices but it just clears username and password and sits there

It recognizes my username and password. If I enter an incorrect password it says so. When I enter the correct password, though it just clears the username and password and sits there , it never goes to roon

When you enter the correct credentials and the fields clear without progressing, this usually means the login handoff between the Roon app and the web browser isn’t completing.

Could you please check the following:

  • After entering your username and password in the Roon app, do you see a browser pop-up asking you to confirm and return to the Roon application?
  • If you don’t see such a prompt, it’s possible that the browser is blocking pop-ups.

Please try these steps:

  1. Make sure pop-ups are allowed in your default browser (Safari in particular is quite strict by default).
  2. If a login/authorization page opens, try copying that login URL and pasting it into a different browser (for example, Chrome or Firefox) to complete the sign-in.

Let us know what you observe after trying this — especially whether a browser prompt appears at all. That will help us narrow this down further.
