I have been meaning to ask this for ages. I really like ‘New releases for you’, although I always seem to have way too many classical recommendations. Of the 78 overall recommendations there, 21 are classical. When I look at my overall library, I have 3119 albums of which 30 are deemed as classical, and lots of these are brian eno stuff…
Is there anyway to adjust this, so I see less ‘traditional’ classical?
I was under the impression I had looked before, but obviously not properly, or perhaps before that thread.
Anyway, I suppose it shows its an issue that is still around bothering some users. I know you can select genre, but given this is supposed to be ‘New releases for you’ you would hope that most would be in some way tailored to you listening habits/library.

I don’t know if this will help, since I see mostly relevant releases, but you can sort new releases by relevance.
If this doesn’t work, I recommend that you open a Support ticket. Most discussion about this in in#roon, and Roon staff do not monitor this category.
There’s also this recent one in Support and it doesn’t inspire confidence:

If “New Releases for You is not based on your library only”, is correct, then it should simply be called New Releases. And, if this is the situation, wouldn’t we all see the same lists?
Well, „not only“, and some other things are considered in addition. Makes sense to me in principle, I might want to know about some releases that are not necessarily related to my library.
But clearly something is off with the large numbers of classical recommendations for some people who never listen to classical.
And there should be recommendations for all releases by artists in my library.
