I am keen to try and practice some soldering. So I have been casting around for ideas, and wondered whether I could build some kind of roon endpoint, so thinking streamer, dac and amp, although not sure about the pre-amp bit. And, at the same time, it might be a nice opportunity to practice some soldering.
I have a couple of raspberry pi 4’s knocking around (and a 3b in a draw) that could be repurposed, I also have a hifi berry digi dac, and I even have a screen I could use.
Has anyone done anything like this? Any tips or ideas?
