A bit. They are dropping old devices off the new OS. At one point they were going to brick them all but the resultant furore changed their minds.

But the good news seems to be that the new OS coupled with the new devices will be able to higher bit rate formats. No good for me. All of my devices are older but good for people that have new stuff.

I wonder whether Roon will be able to control and play to Sonos devices running the new (S2) OS?

Yes, I am wondering the same thing. Will it just work with Roon, or will we have to wait for a fix?
