· New Twenty One Pilots album (More Than We Ever Imagined Live in Mexico City) released last friday (august 7) still not showing in Roon.
Favouriting it in Tidal doesn't work.
Other albums released that friday are showing.
I have Tidal only connected, so I can't check Qobuz.
I wonder if its a label issue, it happened this other time with Twenty One Pilots: https://community.roonlabs.com/t/twenty-one-pilots-new-single-backslide-released-on-april-25-still-not-showing-in-roon/272290?u=riccardo_sicheri
Writing this ticket as this last time was a processing issue on Roon side so I'd rather not wait a week again to reach out.
Thank you for your post and it’s always worth performing due diligence.
From what we can see the Tidal catalog hasn’t yet exposed this object to the API. It should appear within the next several days. We’ll double-check if we don’t receive it.
An update and a correction to what we told you earlier.
The album is already in Roon through Qobuz, which you could not check yourself. What has not happened yet is our own ingestion of it on the Tidal side.
We are leaving this thread open. We will come back here once the Tidal side has come through.
We have been digging into this on our side, and it has taken longer than it should have.
The album is in your Tidal favorites and Tidal is serving it normally, so there is nothing wrong with your account or your setup. It is not coming through into Roon, and that part is ours. We are looking into why internally.
We do not have a timeframe yet. We will post here as soon as we know more, so please do not spend any more time searching for it in the meantime.
No updates yet, unfortunately. It’s clear Tidal has not included this album in their latest data transfer; our development team is still investigating.
A question that comes to mind is: how can I be sure this hasn’t happened for other releases? Surely I wouldn’t want Roon and its new releases section (or your other music discovery features) to be hiding me new (or already old) releases I would have found out using Tidal own app.
We have that album now, and you should be able to access it in Roon.
From Tidal’s own public API, they return the 2026-08-21 as the official release date, and they haven’t supplied it to us until today. We’re in touch with them to clarify this situation.
To close the loop on this: we have raised it with Tidal directly, since the album was in their public API on the 7th with a release date of the 21st and they did not include it in the data they sent us until the 21st itself. That inconsistency is theirs to explain, and it is with them now.
On your question about how you would know if this had happened to other releases, that was a fair one and we put it to the team that owns our catalog data. There is no check on our side that compares a provider’s catalog against ours and flags what is missing.
