Description of Issue

I didn’t use roon for couple month since it’s in other house and with covid I couldn’t go there. in the meantime I update the Macbook, and then now when I want to use roon, it detect no audio devise at all. I uninstall Mc Afee. Same issue, and I don’t see no device at all even not the MAC system output. Just no audio. I check security preference and see Roon app checked.
I used to use network and try many thing and at the end I think the issue is on the MAC or ROON core because even the system output is not here. I have the latest Roon version.
Can you help me and have an idea to look for???
Thanks a lot,
Best regards

Hi @Antoine_Pannetier I’m not Roon support but I’ll try to help while you’re waiting. Simple question first up, does the MacBook play sound outside of Roon? So try a YouTube video through the system output. It’s just not clear from your description is all.

Best,
Carl

Hi Carl,
Thanks, yes it 's playing song on the internal HP as well on the audio external jack. I am home now and when I start Roon I can see the audio device system output. Strange. I will try again whan I will be back with the Cambridge. Looks like an ethernet issue but what is strange it’s block also the system output.
I am back on May 22 so I tell you
Best
