Description of Issue

Hi - running Windows 11 on a client machine. Client launches but its local audio does not show available. Audio show for other hosts. I believe this did work previously Checked the firewall - and even disabled it as a test, and still no joy.

Cannot play from the Roon Client

The most likely cause is that Windows blew away the exceptions for Roon and RAATserver on the client. Try turning off the Firewall on the client PC and see if the audio endpoints appear. Since your Core is Windows, you might also verify that the core Firewall is not the issue as well. The RoonServer communicates to the client and the audio endpoints are built on the RoonServer PC. Anything that breaks/stops this communication will result in the endpoint on the client PC not being created. T…

Ben with the support team here, I wanted to check in on your thread and see if you were still running into issues? Did you get a chance to read the thread Ged shared above?

I’d first double-check your firewall settings on the PC - and even test disabling it temporarily and see if the issue persists.
