# No continuous streaming to Roon Bridge

As I had no luck with helpful answers in my other thread, I will separate this topic.

After updating to the latest rooExtend version my RPi3 connected with Roon Bridge to Roon, I do not get a continous streaming. The RPi3 is located in my bed room and connected via LAN. Roon server is on a MacMini. I have now always only a short play time for a couple of seconds and than a way longer pause of several seconds. Even with a low quality 128 kps mp3 radio stream.

I tried different buffer times but this did not help.

Not sure if this has anyting todo with rooExtend but with the old rooExtend version everything worked fine. 🤔 Newest rooExtend version with my RPi4 in my living room works fine. Is the RPi3 already underpowered?

If not, can anybody point me in a direction where I should look further into? Maybe anything with MacOS network settings?

It looks like I am the only one with this issue which still exists, also after the latest Roon update.

As I do not want to fiddle around anymore, I simply will abandon rooExtend on this RPi and will install roopiee XL…

No roonuimo in the bed room though.

But better no rooNuimo than no music at all. 😉
