No endpoints found after Mac M1 restart
Asus XT*
I’m running the latest rev of Tahoe. Roon software had been a bit buggy, so I restarted my computer. None of my network endpoints were found. I’ve tried:
What else should I try??
thanks,

Please pass this along to the engineering staff.
I got everything back up. I quit the Server, then renamed the RAATServer in the Library. This forces Roon to create a brand new RAATServer folder. Then I restarted the computer. This did the trick this time. I’ve successfully used this trouble-shooting step in the past.
In earlier iterations, this happened after each (AND EVERY!) update. This hasn’t been an issue so much recently.
However, it is now an issue when the server computer is restarted. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me. I’m hoping this is helpful so it can be improved in future updates.
If I can provide any further information or try to re-create the issue in the future, please feel free to contact me.

rob
Hello @Rob_Welles ,
Thanks for reaching out. We are looking into a similar issue at the moment, so yes, we would be most curious to know if this issue occurs again for you in the future. If it does, please let us know the exact local time + date of the failure, and if you wish to rename RAATServer again, we ask that you save a copy of the old RAATServer folder in case the logs or the diagnostic data contained in it help the QA team reproduce this. Was it just your local Mac zone that were impacted, or did networked zones also disappear?
The zone that was directly connected to the Roon Server was available but not the networked zones. I looked to see if I had a backup copy of the RAATServer but couldn’t find one. I’ll definitely remember to do so next time.
Hi @Rob_Welles ,
Thanks for letting us know, please do keep us updated if the issue should re-occur.
Just an FYI –
I just updated to the latest rev. All I had to do was restart the Roon software on my Mac mini (M1) and all the endpoints showed up!!
Great job folks!!
thanks,
rob
