Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

Tell us what's going on

· Roon has one big problem, when you add a song to a playlist there is no indication that the song in the library has already been added to a playlist. This is a deal breaker for me, there are so many good things abouRoon and one of the most important features is missing. I will one moving away from Roon. One must know if the song is already in a playlist so that you do not add the song again. Bye for now, will organise something else formymusic.

Thanks for the feedback here. Since this is not a current feature of Roon, I would recommend also posting your suggestion in the Feature Suggestions section of the site.

Our product team and developers keep a close eye on that category, so that’s definitely the best place to propose a change like this and get feedback from the Community.

You can enable „playlist links“ in the settings, which will display a link to the playlist(s) below the track.

This applies only to the specific version of the track, so it won’t prevent adding a different version, but at least it’s a little help.

(There’s also the Playlist Improver which can detect duplicates, but it’s after the fact)
