No Native DSD with Wadia 322 DAC that regularly plays DSD files, e.g. with Audirvana

Mac Mini 10.13.6 with Roon 1.8 'also previous version the same issue

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

WADIA 322 connected by USB to MacMini

Description Of Issue

No Native DSD mode offered. files are converted to PCM, music plays OK, but i want to know why it does not wirework as native DSD, while before Roon, Audirvana regularly did it, same mac, sam Wadia 322

Native dsd requires drivers, mac usually plays DoP. Go to device setup and select DOP under dsd playback strategy.

Mac does not support native DSD, with a few very exceptions.

If Audirvana worked, you were using DoP.

hey you are correct. i set the DSD over PCM and Wadia show now DSD—thanks for education:-)
