In version 1.8, Roon Remote does not start on my Huawei Media Pad 5 Pro. Only the Roon symbol can be seen.
I have one of these tablets also.
Last night the tablet was crashing constantly after new Roon app landed.
I deleted the Roon app - restarted tablet - cleared all cache folders - restarted tablet again - reinstalled Roon app.
Today it’s working as expected. Will also add that it’s much slicker than the 1.7 app was.
On a side note - these Huawei tablets are known to become sluggish through time.
So not always 100% Roon related when performance issues do arise within the Roon app.
