Roon won’t connect to Core. Have Rebooted all systems. Reloaded Roon App.

What devices are you using are Remotes to connect to the Core? Is this the first time you are using the SGC as the Core, or is this a recent issue that has developed? Also, what is the networking environment for your Remote devices to the Core?

I have been using the same system for 4 years. It drops out sometimes but I reboot the system and it reconnects. The WiFi is running through a Netgear Nighthawk X4 Router. I can play Spotify fine. I use Roon for Tidal and either iphone or iPad as remote device. Have also checked that SGC Transporter and Rendu are fully updated. Thanks for any help.

I suggest emailing this to Andrew Gillis at Small Green Computer. If the SonicTransporter’s SSD is the original, it may be failing. Maybe Andrew can help you diagnose it. You cannot replace the SSD yourself, you have to ship the SonicTransporter to Andrew. But his prices and turnaround time are reasonable. I had to have the SSD replaced in my SonicTransporter i7 last year after it started acting up. Andrew fixed it and put a larger SSD in for a very reasonable price.
Just my two cents…

FYI. I reached out to Small Green Computer’s Andrew Gillis. The solution was very simple. Uninstall Roon from the SonicOrbiter and reinstall. Voila! All running smoothly. Thanks for the help.
