Description Of Issue
Hi,
I can see the MQA icon when using Tidal. When I go through the USB connection and use Roon, I don’t see MQA.
All DSP’s are disabled.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks
Bernard

Hi @Bernard_Aubin,

Any change after rebooting your Core machine?

Is this happening for all MQA content? For all endpoints?

Hi,
Rebooted the Mac, restarted Roon and still no MQA reading on Dac.

Hello @Bernard_Aubin,

In the device setup screen for the USB Bartók zone, set the “MQA Capabilities” to “Renderer Only”.

That did it.
Thanks John and all the support team.

Love new update. Playing things I/ve forgotten over the years!

Hello @Bernard_Aubin,

Glad to hear it, enjoy the music :headphones: .

For future reference, the dCS Bartók operates as an MQA Renderer when used via its USB input. Alternatively, the Roon Ready networked input acts as an MQA Full Decoder. Despite this small quirk, there should be no difference in performance between the two inputs when playing MQA content to the DAC.
