IMHO the album “Tenoration” by Pee Wee Ellis is a must have for anyone who’s into (jazz-)funk. Check it out. I’m pretty sure you guys won’t be disappointed…

Check out the tune “Hello Dave” on Michael Wollny’s album “Oslo”. Great jazz-funk piece. Wollny and his mates really know how to groove. Won’t hurt if you turn up the volume a notch or two (or three or four…)!
