· Good morning, When I turned on the NUC with Roon ROCK installed, Version 2.1 (build 271) production, it was unable to connect to your servers.
I tried: changing the Ethernet cable, changing the modem router port of my network provider, restarting the modem router, restarting the NUC several times, and reinstalling the ROCK OS version from the web form. But nothing happened. The NUC is pingable. Then I tried to reset it via the Roon Database & Settings web form. Now it says “Missing Codecs” and I can no longer access it via the Roon Windows client; it keeps asking me to log in. I am asking for your help in resolving these issues. Thank you very much.

Thanks for writing in and for sharing your report! If you could, please bring your server back online, and we’ll attempt to enable diagnostic mode to review a more detailed analysis.
Please read the article that @BlackJack referred you to in full - it contains the steps that you need to apply to Windows to adjust its SMB access behaviour.
Sigh - please read the article. In particular, the section that begins:
In case you see the error like in the screenshot below, do not panic. Modern versions of Windows have security settings that may block guest access to network shares by default.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find what @Geoff_Coupe wrote in the article (surely my fault), but no problem, with the help of AI I managed to configure my Win PC to access the data directory, I copied the codec file and now everything works.
Thank you all for your help and sorry if I didn’t understand some of the suggestions right away.
