Not sure if this has been covered before. On several occasions when I have only slightly moved my 1st gen Nucleus it would loose its connection due to the cable jack not fully connecting to the Ethernet jack. After trying numerous cat6/7/8 cables with the same results, I finally found a cable that fits securely in the jack.

@Carlton_Spence . Nice find. Question. When you lost internet connection, did your Nucleus power off?
Not sure if it powered off or not. It took me a while to detect it was the Ethernet and not the DC input that was causing the disconnections.
