Nucleus+ cannot be found on the network (ref#Q07KKE)

Dear Support
Two days ago I was very happy as my network found Nucleus+ again…
Today no chance, tried everything + have spoken with the internet provider too!!!
Connected Nucleus+ directly with the Router again… + also with HDMI… no chance!!!
Always the same error message: “Waiting for your Roon Server…”

Don’t know whose “mistake or problem” it is…
Basically there are many problems with different devices too to connect/find the network too!!!
I just don’t understand why it is working one time, then later not anymore!!!
That means to me that the software both the device + the provider ones don’t work perfectly too!!!
Can’t be that you’ve to wait one night + then is should work again as one user recommended too!!
Where are we living then, in the last century or what???
So there are companies which are really able to produce devices which are 100% reliable too, for instance ARLO with their security devices!!! There was never a connection problem with the network even remotely for a distance of about 100 meters too!!!

So I’m not happy at all… will go on ski holiday tomorrow + forget ROON now…
It’s just a pity that I’m experiencing that problem now after more than one year almost everything has worked perfectly too but the finding problem of an interpret as well which hasn’t still be solved too!!

If there is somebody who can help me after my holidays I would really appreciate!!!

I’ve connected Nucleus+ directly with the Router too!!!
They both can’t find each other!!!
I’ve contacted also the my provider… Network is working properly!!!
Cable + connections are correctly too!!! + also NO Firewall problem as well!!!
Maybe you can try it from your side too as I’m a member of ROON too!!!
Thank you very much!

Description of Issue

“… Waiting for your Roon Server…” message…

Can you connect an HDMI monitor or TV to the Nucleus+ and see what messages are displayed?

Please don’t open multiple support requests for the same issue. It won’t help solve the issue any faster and in fact slows down the ability of the Support team to address your case.

I’ve merged your duplicate thread into your existing issue. Thank you.

Thank you very much + I’m very very sorry!!!
But it’s really a big problem too!!!
Since two weeks now without ROON respectively Nucleus+ too…

I asked two questions in the original thread to get a better understanding of the situation and you didn’t answer them … doesn’t make it easier.

One was:

The other was:

And this new one by Mike will also give us more information:

No, I’ve just connected Nucleus+ with my Router directly, turned on + off several times but they can’t find each other anymore!
If I’m pressing “ROON” icon on my app list at the bottom of my MacPro then I’m getting the following pic:

This is the last time I’ll ask:

Hi @Hanspeter_Dettwiler,

Thanks for writing in! As others have mentioned, it’s best to keep all communication tied to this thread moving forward - it’s extremely helpful for our technical support in regards to troubleshooting and fully understanding your issue, as well as overall setup.

This is an important follow up test and question - if you’re able to access the webUI of your Nucleus, that’s a promising sign! Make sure your Nucleus is hardwired to your router, and powered on.

From there, open up a computer and web browser. From there copy and paste:

or

http://nucleusplus.local

or

And let me know the results. Thanks! :+1:
