I did restart it twice yesterday back to back and from the Web UI. so you want me to start twice again, or just once?
Rather than wait I rebooted twice. When rebooting I wait for it to come fully up before rebooting a second time. Anyway, done!
8:28 AM Mountain Standard Time… 5th album loaded for a playlist hung for around 40 seconds… Vaughan Williams London Symphony. Hangs every morning, then usually works for the rest of the day.
This morning was different. It was loading albums properly, but then scrolling down all the album covers were missing. I’ve seen this before and it usually fixes itself in a few seconds. But today I stayed blank for at least a minute, so I quit the roon app (mac version) and then all the covers returned. I was able to load my playlist with NO delays. Go figure.
Hi @Mel_Martin,
Ok, we’ve enabled one final additional diagnostic bit for your account - this should finally gather all the information we need. At your convenience, please restart your RoonServer twice in a row using the web UI. From there, let us know the new timestamp and we’ll pass this case to development - we should have a final answer soon. Thank you!
ok. this morning at 8:34 (mountain standard) had this odd lockup trying to load Britten choral music. This was after 4-5 albums loaded properly. Could not right click on it. Could not single click to load the album page. Could not click the x to back up. So closed the mac app and re-opened it to restore things to normal. Same behavior as yesterday.
Got stuck this morning at 8:31:55 (Mountain Standard time) loading Vaughan Williams Mass in G. It was I think the 10th album being loaded into a playlist. System was frozen for about 40 seconds.
