Hello, can a Nucleus box with SSD storage be mounted vertically?

Yes but perhaps if the area around is adequately ventilated there would be less issue. The fins while on the sides and top should give adequate cooling in both orientations. Mechanically it doesn’t matter as long as cooling is adequate.
