Hello,

Thank you for reaching Roon support. To reset the Nucleus, you can simply recreate a database folder.

  • Stop RoonServer from running in Nucleus’s WebUI
  • Navigate to your Nucleus’ Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “RoonServer”
  • Rename the “RoonServer” folder to “RoonServer_old”
  • Restart the RoonServer in the WebUI to generate a new Database
  • On the Roon Remotes, press “Use another Roon Server” and connect to the new database

In case you have any issues accessing the Nucleus via the SMB, we have a step-by-step guide on how to adjust this setting in Windows so you can copy your music files:

Please give those steps a try and let me know if you are able to connect afterwards!

For context, the SMB guest access process @vadim has shared in the post above resolves the vast majority of network share credential issues with Windows-based Roon setups.
