Nucleus+ not appearing on network or accessible via Roon app (ref#YW0B7T)

Is Roon Server running?

· No, Roon Server is not running.

For Roon connectivity to work properly, both Roon Server and Roon Remote need to be turned on.

· I can't turn on Roon Server, I need help.

Describe the issue

I turn on the Nucleus+, but it doesn't appear in the list of devices connected to my router, nor can I connect to it from the roon app on my iPad.

Describe your network setup

I've connected the Nucleus+ to one of the router's four LAN ports using an Ethernet cable. The make and model of my router is the Mitrastar GPT-2541GNAC Smart WiFi HGU Router.

Try connecting a HDMI monitor or TV to the Nucleus and go thought the power on sequence to see what messages are displayed.

And another question, is there any activity on the ethernet port where the Nucleus is plugged into either on the router or the Nucleus end? What are the lights doing on the ports, if anything?

The orange and green lights are on both the LAN port of the router and the Nucleus+, but on the Nucleus + the green light is blinking

The orange and green lights are on both the router’s LAN port and the Nucleus+, but on the Nucleus+! the green light is blinking. On the Nucleus + it flashes, on the router they stay on without flashing

Hi @Teo_Fuentes,

If you’re not seeing your Nucleus within your devices list from your router settings, the next step would be to plug it into a monitor via HDMI and review the message on screen. Feel free to share a screenshot of what you see.

We’ll be on standby for your results, thank you! :raised_hands:

If the screen remains blank - you’ll want to start an RMA process to send in the device for additional analysis and repair. They’re in charge of all hardware-related Nucleus issues. To do so, open the Typeform link below and select ‘Other’ followed by 'This issue is related to a physical component".

Typeform link : Nucleus Troubleshooting

They’ll help get you sorted out moving forward. Thanks! :+1:

Thanks Mike, bearFNF and benjamin. I’ve connected an HDMI monitor to the Nucleus+ and the screen remains blank, so the problem appears to be related to the Nucleus hardware. I’ve contacted Nucleus Troubleshooting via the Typeform link and am awaiting their guidance and assistance.
