Nucleus not connecting to network with amber light on Ethernet cable (ref#GFIK7A)

Is Roon Server running?

· No, Roon Server is not running.

For Roon connectivity to work properly, both Roon Server and Roon Remote need to be turned on.

· I can't turn on Roon Server, I need help.

Describe the issue

Nucleus will not connect to the network, amber light on one side of ethernet cable, green on the other.

Describe your network setup

We have a whole house network with APs throughout but the nucleus is hardwired to the router.

That could mean you have a slower link to your network.

One way to see whether the Nucleus PC is running is to connect a monitor to it and see what it is displaying. You could post a pic of that here.

Amber light should be fine:

I bought a new ethernet cable and now it is working. Still amber light but it works.

That’s what you should see on the Nucleus. On Intel hardware, this signifies a 1 Gbps link.

Hi @Ralph_Hunter,

Glad to hear a cable replacement seems to have resolved the issue. Our servers show this Nucleus has recent activity.
