Sorry to hear you’re having issues with your DAC not being seen on your Nucleus.

To confirm, is the DAC connected to the Nucleus, or your Mac?

How is your Nucleus as well as the DAC connected to your network? You mention a wifi extender, I’d first start by hooking both your Nucleus and the DAC up to your primary router via ethernet as a good next step in troubleshooting.

With that, we’re not seeing any trace of your Nucleus in communication with our servers, or your account. Can you please safely stop Roon Server from running, and then give your Nucleus a reboot? Rebooting your router may be helpful as well.

If you’re still having issues after the above, could you please use the directions found here and send over a set of Roon Server logs from your Nucleus to our File Uploader?

I appreciate you getting back to me so quickly. Two things...I bought this Nucleus+ used and secondly I am not computer savvy and have no idea how to do the things that you asked in regards to sending logs. I was under the impression this was pretty simple, plug it in let the software find it and off we go but I'm totally lost and even unsure if this unit is in proper working order. It comes on but I have yet to see it recognized by the software app and i have rebooted it 50 times and also plugged it directly into my main router and tried everything that my minimal computer knowledge will let me

Plug the Nucleus+ HDMI output directly into a monitor. Please share a photo of the BIOS diagnostic output that you see, or let us know if the machine fails to display one.
