Nucleus not recognizing DAC as an endpoint (ref#UYG14E)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· None of the above quite fits

None of the above quite fits

· None of these quite match

Tell us what's going on

· My Nucleus is connected to a DAC by USB that is connected to my receiver. The nucleus does not recognize the DAC as an endpoint. It worked fine last time I used it. I have powered off and on the system. That doesn't help.

Tell us about your home network

· The connection that is not working is wired. It does not depend on the wifi. I don't have a VPN. Just a modem and router. The wifi is for accessing my streaming service (Tidal) and my NAS. All that works fine. Other endpoints that are connected through the wifi work fine. The endpoint the Nucleus doesn't redognize is connected by USB.

So you don’t see it in settings:audio at all, even as somehow having become disabled and now just needs to be enabled again.
What is the dac?

@Marc_McDill,

Thanks for sharing your issue here.

Could you please share a screenshot from your Settings > Audio page where we can see all of your audio endpoints?

Also, is the problematic device the Topping D90SE?

If so, could you please provide a few more details on the problem, including a screenshot? In our diagnostics, we see it marked as successfully connected.

Thanks.

We’re going to close this thread as diagnostics indicate the issue might have been resolved offline.

Please reach out in a new request here if you require any additional troubleshooting or if anything else comes up.

Thank you!
