· Cannot find Nucleus on my network. Just received back from servicing by Roon (would not power up)
Tell us about your home network
· Direct ethernet connection from Netgear router, 1 Gig fiber, (it is going through a Netgear switch also) It's on my network, I can see the device is online but the Nucleus not discoverable using my laptop or phone app.
Thanks for writing in and for sharing your report! @Carl is spot on with the above reply.
If none of the above help, I’d also test out temporarily simplifying your network chain and get a direct ethernet connection to your primary router, bypassing any switches or additional gear.
We’ll be monitoring for your reply and results, thank you!
We’re reaching out since our diagnostic servers still don’t show any activity on this Nucleus One in the last few weeks.
It appears from your screenshot that the Nucleus One has possibly been relegated to a separate subnetwork from your other devices.
If you’ve confirmed all your devices share one subnet, then we’ll need to troubleshoot the possibility that multicast traffic is being restricted by a router, switch, or node. Device discovery announcements from the server don’t seem to be reaching your laptop and iOS devices over the WiFi.
Do you have an Orbi mesh network? If so, in your Netgear settings, please ensure that “Disable IGMP Proxying” has been untoggled. Let us know if you don’t see this setting.
