Nucleus One failed me

I bought,tried,and returned a Nucleus One.
It crashed all the time, support was really slow,(like 3 weeks to even reply).
I had so looked forward to it too!

Reading around it seems that the Nucleus One is beset with problems.

I would still have loved it, had it worked.

Went back to pc core and Roon works like a charm.

So is Nucleus One as bad as it seems?

I think you misunderstand. I moved your post, so it would be seen by community and Roon staff alike (you hadn’t assigned a category, so it would be easily missed.)

Likewise, moderators often check posting history in these circumstances to make sure the issue was directed to Roon support. In your case, it was after some delay. Unfortunately, by then, it was the Christmas holiday period.

By opening a support ticket as described, your request is added to Roon’s ticket management system, which should result in a better outcome.
