Please try to restart your Roon Server by closing the Roon Server app in the taskbar (MacOS), task manager (Windows) or rebooting your Roon Server machine.

Problem logging in to tidal from roon app. All devices running latest Release releases

Describe your network setup

There are no network problems. Direct streaming from Tidal works. No dns or VPN conflicts. THE HANDSHAKE FAILS AT YOUR END.

Thank you for your post. There aren’t any current flags with Roon’s cloud authentication servers, so we’ll need a little more information in order to pinpoint what’s wrong.

What do you see in the Nucleus Web Admin itself?

Diagnostics indicate your RoonServer itself might be offline; it hasn’t been seen by our cloud servers in two days, although Roon Remotes show recent activity.

For due diligence, please ensure content blockers are disabled in Safari (this is always the default browser for login redirects on iOS), as they’ll commonly intercept the URL redirect back to Roon. The same is true of third-party adblockers in any browser you’re using on Mac.

roon Nucleus One shows all system go. I even reinstalled the OS.
browser (Vivaldi (Chrome) ) has no blockers or VPN running. Redirect from Roon login webpage takes me back to Roon app, where login times out. No error messages.

OS: Version 2.1 (build 271) production
Running 4 days, 5 hours, 1 minute, 33 seconds.

Server: Version 2.73 (build 1696) production
Running 35 minutes, 22 seconds.

DNS 1.1.1.1
IP, Gateway, subnet mask all OK.

Cannot login from any of 4 apple devices. Meanwhile i note the solid red light on the ethernet port on the back of the nucleus (see pic), amber light flashing as if there’s traffic.

problem solved. My router had blocked a “malicious” linux device, which turned out to be the NucleusOne. (Assuming Roon OS is a fork of linux)
