For Roon connectivity to work properly, both Roon Server and Roon Remote need to be turned on.
· Roon Server is on, but I'm still having trouble connecting.
What do you see on your screen?
· "Looking for your Roon Server"
Please try to restart your network setup by unplugging, waiting 30 seconds and then replugging in your networking gear.
· No, the issue remains the same
Please select how you've connected your Roon Server to the internet
· Roon Server is connected by *Ethernet*
Have you checked your firewall settings to ensure that Roon is allowed through?
· Roon still won't connect even after checking this aspect
Have you verified that Roon Server is on the same subnet as your Remotes?
· My Remotes and Server are on the same subnet and I still can't connect
Sometimes the issues can be resolved with a reinstall of your Roon Remote app. Let's try to perform a reinstall and see if it helps.
· I've reinstalled the Roon Remote but it did not help
What is the operating system of your Roon Server host machine?
· *Nucleus*
Select any of the following components that are present in your local network setup
· None of the above
Describe the issue
My current setup: Modem/Router copper to Cisco switch fiber (25ft from audio rack) to EtherRegen (ER) then copper to the Lumin U1 Mini streamer.
If I connect my new ROON server Nucleus One (NO) to the Cisco Switch then it works, but if I connect the NO using Ethernet cable to side A of my ER it does not work. Why? I prefer the ROON NO server situated on my audio rack. Thanks for any help

I replaced my Windows 10 Roon server with the Nucleus One.

If you have had similar problem or know of a resolution, please let me know. Thanks.
I’m not sure how the A ports of the ER are supposed to work, but according to the Uptone website you are supposed to connect the server (NO) to the standard switch (Cisco), not to the ER’s A port.
Maybe this is a question best asked to Uptone Audio if their fancy switch doesn’t work as you think it should.
Thank you for the details. Could you please confirm which side of the EtherRegen your Nucleus One is connected to — A-side or B-side?
Could you also please *connect a monitor or TV directly to your Nucleus One when it’s connected to the EtherRegen and not showing up in Roon?
Take a photo of what appears on the screen — this will help us see whether the Nucleus is booting properly and receiving a network connection.
