Nucleus One not detected on Windows 11 network (ref#GT46SN)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· None of the above quite fits

None of the above quite fits

· None of these quite match

Tell us what's going on

· Nucleus One not found in network on windows 11

Tell us about your home network

· Vodafone PowerHub Router PowerHub1_0, no VPN used, Nucleus One listed on router network. I have tried various Roon suggestions without success (see Screeshots).

I’m looking at that page in the Roon Help portal, and it looks as though some of the text in the command strings is being cut off by the panel on the right hand side - so obviously the instructions won’t work.

I suggest that you try the instructions given in this Microsoft article…

Accessing a third-party NAS with SMB in Windows 11 24H2 may fail | Microsoft Community Hub

If you have Windows 11 Pro, start at step 6. I you are running Windows 11 Home, go to step 8.

Hello @James_Easton ,

Please let us know if those instructions helped with connecting to the Nucleus on your end. Also, please note that the Windows 11 and Nucleus need to be on the same subnet/network to communicate properly.

Yea all is good. Instruments worked and windows finds nucleus one

Thanks

James.

All is good. Windows now finds nucleus one.

Thank you for your assistance.

James

Hi @James_Easton,

Glad to hear it’s sorted, and that Windows is now finding the Nucleus One. We’ll mark this thread for closure. Enjoy your Roon experience!
