Describe the issue

My Nucleus One is no longer seen on my network. I can't get to the UI interface for that reason. It happened when I powered down to change a power cable on my Synergistic Research 8SX power conditioner. I have reinstalled Roon, rebooted both the Nucleus One and my laptop several times, and it still is not seen.

The Nucleus One is connected to an Xfinity X-1 router, to an Uptone network switch, and DSD MK2 from PSAudio.

Describe your network setup

Connection is to an Xfinity X-1 router to an Uptone network switch to a Nucleus One to a DSD MK2 DAC.

Hi @Leighton_Freeze,

Thank you for your post and we’re sorry to hear you’re having these issues.

Do you see the LEDs (ethernet and power) lighting on the unit, even if they’re just briefly flashing?

Try connecting an HDMI cable from the Nucleus One to any TV/display. To you see an IP address in the diagnostic report that outputs?

We’ll watch for your response and proceed from there. Thank you!

Turned on the system this morning and for reasons I can’t explain it’s working.

Hi @Leighton_Freeze,

Wonderful to hear. We’ve requested diagnostic logs from the machine so we can inspect what the system might have been doing around the time it went offline and back online.

At your convenience, please restart RoonServer in the webUI to prompt the logs to automatically upload to our cloud servers.

We’ll follow up from there. Thank you!

Hey @Leighton_Freeze,

We reviewed the logs and found a period that lines up with the network outage, but everything else in the logs looks clean.

Your network appears to be in good health, so we’ll mark this thread for closure. If the issue comes back, please send in a reopen request through the same form you used before:

Thank you!
