Nucleus One will stop working after about 2-3 days of use, and you'll need to manually turn it on every 2-3 days.

Do you have a stable mains supply? My Nucleus turns off if the supply is interrupted and then requires a manual restart. For me this is obviously not a regular occurrence but it’s just a thought.

I have an 800VA UPS for Nucleus One.

Great to have. However you have to remember to manually turn off the server before the ups runs out.

Hey @Adam_Schoenfeld, welcome to the community,

A Nucleus One that drops out after a few days and then needs a manual power-on is not normal, so we want to separate a power issue from a software or storage issue.

Before we go further, please check two things for us:

  • Is the Nucleus One connected directly to the UPS, and if so, does the UPS report any battery or output alarms around the time the Nucleus stops responding?
  • What else is connected to the Nucleus One right now, such as USB storage, a DAC, or a display?
When the unit goes offline, if you can reach the [url=https://help.roonlabs.com/portal/en/kb/articles/roonos-webui]RoonOS WebUI[/url], let us know whether the system still shows as powered on there or if it appears fully shut down. That will tell us a lot about whether we are dealing with a clean shutdown versus a hang.

We can take the next step from there once we know what the UPS is reporting and what peripherals are attached.
