Roon nucleus one server is all locked up. From the Library tab under Background Audio Analysis Speed it is stopped on "0/14" tracks.
I have a 2Tb drive that is formatted and empty. From my MacBook I copied a folder of music, but part way thru the process is stopped loading and the Mac client kept popping up with "Waiting for your Roon Server". I waited an hour for it to clear up. No good. I restarted the server. No good. I reformatted the drive, reset the Roon database. I started over loading a few albums at a time. It got to 14 album and the problem returned and waited six hours. It is totally stuck.
Describe your network setup
I have an Orbi. The One is connected to one router.
I found some, apparently, bad music files and deleted them. It seems Nucleus got stuck on those files and wouldn’t proceed on the analysis. It just spun.
Thanks for reaching out and your feedback here. Do you by any chance still have the files that were causing this issue? If so, can you please upload the files to the below link and let us know once uploaded so that we can try to reproduce on our end and put in a ticket to prevent this if it is reproducible? Thanks!
I uploaded one of the four evil files. Since cleaning those four off the internal drive, everything seems to be operating just fine. Odd that Roon identified them as a “Skipped File”, but then got stuck trying to analyze them.
If this helps, these four files were in a subdirectory of the main album. So those same tracks appeared twice. Some years ago I created some low-res versions and kept them in a subdirectory.
