Nucleus One unable to access Innuos Zen Mini Mk 3 after power cut (ref#D5MFO1)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

Tell us what's going on

· I am using a Nucleus One as my main Roon server. I am using Roon Bridge to access my Innuos Zen Mini Mk 3 music server and ripped cd library. We had a power cut on Tuesday January 20 at 02.57. The directory to the music library \\zenmini\music was lost in the storage file. The Nucleus could no longer find the music directory. Innuos advised entering \\ZENMINI-MK3-06276\music. I also tried \\zenmini\music and entering the Innuos user name and password when adding the network in Storage. Neither storage folder addresses worked. Please can you retrieve the music folder as Innuos has stated, 'This is ultimately a matter of configuration with Roon running on your Nucleus - there is no underlying issue with the Innuos, so yes I would suggest contacting Roon or the dealer you purchased the system through'.

Tell us about your home network

Hello @Adrian_Lamb,

We retrieved a diagnostic report and can see that the device was previously connected via the IP address 192.168.1.222.

We double-checked, and it appears your Zen Mini is indeed active at that address. Please try connecting using that IP.

Alternatively, if you prefer using the hostname, please ensure you are using the correct format: zen-mini-mk3-06276.

It appears you may have been using “ZENMINI-MK3-06276” which is a little improper spelling.

Please let us know if this works for you.

Thanks.

Hi @Adrian_Lamb,

We usually advise using the IP address if you have credential issues or other connection problems with the network share.

This article refers to NAS units specifically rather than Innuos, but the same best practices mostly apply:

Please let us know if you still require assistance. Diagnostics show a network share active at the hostname you originally mentioned in your report, so we’re going to tentatively mark this thread to auto-close as resolved in a few days.

Hi @Adrian_Lamb,

The latest account diagnostics to reach our diagnostic servers activated on submission of this report) show the Nucleus One has an active network storage location matching the hardware in question (Zen Mini).

We’re going to allow this thread to auto-close under the assumption that the issue is resolved. If you need more help, you can reactivate the topic thread by submitting a new request here. Thank you!
