Xfinity Router/Modem. Both NAS and Nucleus One are connected to the Modem via USB

Hi @Andrew_Thompson1,
Welcome to the Roon community! I’m sorry a problem is what brought you here for the first time. Thanks for adding the info about your network setup! Just to clarify, most routers/modems—including Xfinity models—don’t typically support USB connections for devices like a NAS or Nucleus. Are the NAS and Nucleus possibly connected via Ethernet instead? That’ll help us better understand your setup and offer the best guidance.

Could you clarify how your devices are connected—specifically your Roon server, endpoint, and modem/router? That’ll help us get a clearer picture and provide more targeted advice. Looking forward to your response!

Yes, you are right, via ethernet.

Hi @Andrew_Thompson1,
Thanks for clearing that up. Since both the NAS and the NUC are directly connected to the router via Ethernet, it’s less likely this is a network-related issue.

Can you double-check that the folder on the NAS is properly shared to the network with the correct permissions? If sharing looks fine, try accessing the shared folder from another device outside of Roon (like a file browser) to confirm the path and credentials are working correctly.

If things still aren’t working or you’re unsure about any steps, feel free to share more details—we’re happy to help further!
