Nucleus One unable to locate music library on Innuos Zen Mini Mk 3 after power cut (ref#BWT3E6)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· I am using a Nucleus One as my main Roon server. I am using Roon Bridge to access my Innuos Zen Mini Mk 3 music server and ripped cd library. We had a power cut on Monday 02 March at 13.30. The directory to the music library \\zenmini\music was lost in the Roon storage file. The Nucleus could no longer find the music directory. Innuos advised entering \\ZENMINI-MK3-06276\music. I also tried \\zenmini\music and entering the Innuos user name and password when adding the network in Storage. Neither storage folder addresses worked. Please can you retrieve the music folder as Innuos has stated, 'This is ultimately a matter of configuration with Roon running on your Nucleus - there is no underlying issue with the Innuos, so yes I would suggest contacting Roon or the dealer you purchased the system through'.

Hi @Adrian_Lamb,

Forgive me if I’ve misunderstood your original post, but what happens if you try to add the Innuos location using its IP address instead of the hostname?

For instance, something like: \192.168.X.Y\music

The IP should be listed in the Innuos network settings or your router device list/DHCP table.

Are you able to access this network share from another computer on the same network?

Please also verify that your Eero mesh network hasn’t relegated a mesh node to a separate subnet or class-c block per the “IP address allocation” steps here.

We’ll watch for your response. Please also share a screenshot of the dialog window within Roon Settings → Storage when you attempt to add this network share.

Thank you!

Hi @Adrian_Lamb,

Our diagnostic servers don’t show a network share has yet been registered with this Nucleus, so we’re not confident this issue has been resolved.

Please let us know if you’ve tried the IP address directly instead of the hostname.

We’ll watch for your reply. Thank you!

Innuos informed me that the IP address of the zen Mini is as attached. Thanks Adrian Lamb

This is the network router ip address

@Adrian_Lamb ,

Can you please try to edit the path of zenmini in Roon and use IP instead of host name ?

It should look like this for you:

Let us know please whether this is helpful for your case.

Thank you.
