Nucleus Plus + Dragonfly Black and Static

I have a Nucleus Plus connected to a Dragonfly black that then plugs into a Crestron distributive network. One channel has quite a bit of static. The other is clean. It happens on all zones and all speakers.

Troubleshooting steps are as follows:

  1. Swap out USB cable.
  2. Swap out other audio cables in signal path (ie. RCA cables)
  3. Swap out Dragonfly.
  4. Eliminate Crestron and simplify signal path.
  5. Put core somewhere other than Nucleus.

One of those steps should isolate your problem. It sounds like a cable or connection problem.
