Subject: Dead Nucleus+ Ver. B

Hello,

Yesterday, unexplainably I received a message from Roon that it could not connect to my core. I have done a lot of homework on this and have already hooked up a monitor to hdmi and keyboard usb. The monitor shows a black screen. I have restarted the nucleus several times, no luck. The power button lights, the network lights flash, but nothing else.

iMac 2017, Ventura latest version (Was a roon client, now Core relocated here)
Netgear orbi router with Nucleus plugged directly in, have swapped network cables. Firmware updated, rebooted, no luck.
Core was on Nucleus+, DHCP, had to move it to my iMac to keep using Roon.

Seems to me to be dead. I have tried accessing it through my browser with the old ip address that worked and the other typical commands in the community. Cannot. Nor can I access with monitor/keyboard.

It is currently connected to the internet, so perhaps you can log into it to see what happened, but I am thinking I must send it in for repair/replacement. The database is backed up.

Thank you,

Ted Stam,

Hey @Mr_Todah,

Thanks for taking the time to write in! I will follow up with next steps via PM. Please keep an eye our for a message from me. :+1:

Thank you Ben

So without doing anything, my Nucleus woke up on its own. Ben had logged in and saw no hardware issues. I was able to access it. My devices were showing but the zones were not right. A reboot fixed it all. Maybe I have gremlins. I have no idea why this happened, but it did. Thanks to Ben and for all who assisted.
