I have just purchased a Nucleus Rev B which doesn't have the hard disk mounting brackets - is it possible to source replacements? If not directly from Roon, do any generally available third party parts fit? Many thanks, Rob

Thanks for the photo, it answers more than you might expect, and there is one thing we should be straight about first.
The original bracket is not something we can supply. Your unit is from 2021 and we do not sell spare parts for it.
The good news is that you probably do not need it.
The SATA cable is there, connected to the board with the drive connector free, and there is already a small metal tab fitted to it. That is the part that would have been genuinely awkward to replace.
And your chassis has mounting holes. In your photo there are threaded holes in the flat base, in the empty area above the board. A 2.5 inch drive has four mounting holes on its underside, and if they line up you can screw the drive straight down with no bracket involved.
Please try this before buying anything. Take the drive you intend to use, hold it flat over that area, and see whether its underside holes sit over the holes in the base. No measuring needed, the drive is its own template.
If they line up, four M3 screws will do it. Please use short ones so nothing protrudes through the base, and do not overtighten.

Thanks very much for the quick reply! Understood re the bracket not being available any more; I’d suspect this might be the case. Unfortunately, the four holes in the case don’t line up with the mounting holes of a 2.5" hard disk - the original brackets clamp the sides of the HD and their ‘legs’ sit either side of the HD, rather than underneath, which might have allowed them to line-up. I’ve attached a photo showing this.
Worst case I could fabricate new brackets, unless you there are any other options/off the shelf brackets that are known to fit?

One simpler option, and for an SSD it is the one we would start with.
A couple of strips of double-sided foam tape on the base will hold it. An SSD has no moving parts and weighs around 60 grams, so there is nothing to isolate and nothing to keep rigid. This is a normal way to mount one, not a compromise.
