I should have thought of thatāgood idea. Will try this next.
Attempting to pick this up again today.
Reset the router; no change in status and I cannot locate the Nucleus on the network.
I tested the LAN cables using a laptop and they all appear to be connected to both the network and the internet.
Going to try this next.
So hereās an interesting turn of eventsā¦ I moved the nucleus to a different location on the network and everything works brilliantly.

Final report: the Nucleus enjoyed its brief holiday and has returned to its original installation location, appears to be well rested and apparently is ready to resume its duties.
Iād like to thank each of you who helped me with this confusing set of circumstances which defied explanation (and still does). Perhaps allās well that ends well? Donāt look a gift horse in the mouth? A rolling stone gathers no moss?
