Description of Issue

The Nucleus will not come up with the info if a new version is available.
It even will not show if the current version is the actual one as it does for the other devices.
The Info shows always “checking for updates”
after I have restartet the Nucleus the info shows up if a new version is available.

Hi @Crooner,

Thank you for your patience in awaiting a response. I’ve taken a look at our account servers and it looks like your Nucleus has potentially corrected itself or was fixed by actions you have taken.

Can you please confirm your current situation for me? The rebuild of Nucleus SW isn’t hard but may be time-consuming. Please let me know but either way, I’ll list the steps below to avoid an addition back and forth! Please don’t forget to back things up!

Thanks,
Wes

  • Create a Backup of your current Roon Database
  • Stop RoonServer from running in Nucleus’s WebUI
  • Navigate to your Nucleus’ Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “RoonServer”
  • Rename the “RoonServer” folder to “RoonServer_old”
  • Restart the RoonServer in the WebUI to generate a new Database
  • On the Roon Remotes, press “Use another Core” and connect to the new database
