Occasional bursts of noise when playing music on WiiM Pro Plus via Roon (ref#XO26YA)

· Removing DSP has no effect. I'm still having the same problem.

· On the same machine where RoonServer is running, internal drive

Please try playing content of a lower sample rate (44.1kHz or 48kHz), does this work as expected?

· No, lower sample rates are still affected

Do you have an approximate timestamp of when the issue last occurred?

· no

What are the make and model of the affected audio device(s) and the connection type?

· WiimPro Plus

Describe the issue

Playing music on my WiiM Pro Plus via Roon is distorted. Playing the same music vie the WiiM Hope Android app is not. I have tried changing the signal levelson Roon and my preamp, but that makes no difference. These are occasional bursts of noise.

Describe your network setup

Ethernet for the Roon Server and the Wiim. Wifi for my phone.

Is there any pattern to when the issue happens? Is it at the beginning/middle/end of tracks or during track sample rate changes? Are you able to record a short audio/video clip of the noise, send it to our uploader below and let us know after? Thanks!
