Old core and files

I successfully migrated my core from my QNAP NAS to a Nucleus and all seems to be working well (thanks to community support). I’m wondering if I should do anything with my old core and associated files? I’ve kept my backups going to the same location on my NAS as it was when the core was on my NAS.

  1. Is it necessary to delete the old core?
  2. If I delete the old core, does it automatically delete the old database files including the backups?

No, leave it be. You can always have it as a backup.

Uninstall gives you a check box to clear all Roon related files BUT default to NO

I agree with @xxx, if it’s doing no harm leave it. You never know when you may need it . It’s taking up a few Gb. On your NAS , that’s all
