On a side note, I notice you have Qobuz synced to your account. Do you happen to have the same Tea Daze track from Qobuz added to your library?
If you could, please navigate to the versions tab of the Shpongle album and share a screenshot. From here, make sure the correct local version is set as Primary.
With that, I’m curious - are all of your most played tracks local tracks? If you temporarily disable Qobuz from your account, does your track show up properly?
This implies the following new question: how did the remastered became the primary version?
Regarding Qobuz, I am just trying it for a month, I don’t intent to add albums from Qobuz to my library because some tracks are unavailable and I’m aware it is due to licensing but that kills the whole benefits of subscribing (off topic here). I will cancel it next week, thanks for the reminder.
Roon determines the primary version heuristically (format, metadata completeness/better identification, and source are all factors). This sometimes chafes against user preference, so users can set a different primary version as you’ve done here. The primary version won’t change dynamically once either Roon or a user has set it, unless you override it manually or a new object is imported. The latter case can occur if a streaming service changes their catalog, for instance, or if the local file was deleted and reimported.
Roon displays the Play Count of the Primary Version, as well. That’s what caused this track to initially drop off the sort in your first post.
