Many people use Roon because they can combine their offline music with e.g. Tidal. I have a lot of old MP3 songs that I added to my library but that does not mean I would not prefer Roon to play a TIDAL version instead of my MP3 version in my library - if available.
It would be nice if there was an option telling Roon to take the best quality and not to prefer local library.
A second option could be to prefer the same song (even if not same version) if available in better quality.
Ups…sorry… but it’s still not exactly the same. Many songs exist in many variations and an option to tell roon that i prefer any FLAC version of the song over mp3 would be nice too.
Often Tidal has the song from same group but not exactly the same and I like to tell roon thst I do not care.
