Roon Core Machine
Using a Sinology NAS to hold all my music.
I have a Roon Nucleus connected to the stereo, and I use various Apple products to control it.
Music is coming from:
CDs ripped using dbPoweramp
Files downloaded from web
Unzipped downloaded files
Etc.
My ROON MUSIC folder is a friggin MESS
I’ve been going through it, correcting spelling errors, combining Artists, dragging Albums from the Artists column in to their Artist Folder, etc. but I have no idea if I’m doing it right…
Is there a guide for noobs somewhere with pictures and diagrams and circles and arrows and plain English? Or can someone do this for me remotely for a fee, and give me a little tutorial?
I’d love to use Roon more but man can it be frustrating. Things I KNOW I own aren’t there and I end up on Spotify again, wincing every time a drummer hits a snare (because the files can be so sh*tty)…
Ugh.
