This is why I am firm believer in test and evaluation, specifications, and measurements (e.g., like those performed by audiosciencereview.com). Awareness of our inescapable cognitive bias in making decisions is tantamount to making good decisions. Try as I might, it remains difficult to counter these biases, they are built in to our minds by evolution. They are sometimes easier to identify in listening to other person’s reasoning.
