Roon is not letting me override the track titles for Mehta’s 1978 version of Puccini’s La Fanciulla del West. As you can see from the screenshot each track is called “La fanciulla del West (The Girl of the Golden West), opera”. I can’t see the aria name which frankly is far more useful.
When I hit edit and tell Roon to prefer the Track’s Title metadata it says it has saved my preference but just reverts back to the same as before.
Roon doesn’t look for track names in multi-part compositions. Tag your files with WORK/SECTION/PART-tags depending your needs or tell Roon to disable the display of multi-part compositions for this album (album editor) instead – then it will look at track names.
