Sorry if this easy to find elsewhere, but I tried searching the database, but the search engine must be down (waited 20 minutes and still spinning wheel).
What’s the reason for the Overview showing different number of tracks (81k) compared to the number shown in track view (75k).
It’s just user preference. For example, you might have a low and high bitrate versions, but don’t want to delete the low bitrate version. Roon will default to play the best version available.
That’s actually a part of Roon that I like, it’s quite easy to change the version over if I want to chose the other one.
Bit of a pain when the same album has just a slightly different name in the Metadata and the same album is shown separately. I actually like the Version view where they are stacked on top of each other, and can change which one is on top (the version that will play).
Pity there wasn’t an easy way to show the same albums so as fix them into versions, but at present are showing seperatley due to small differences.
If you find duplicate albums that aren’t showing as duplicates, you can group them. Check the bottom of the FAQ I posted, Adding Albums to a Set. It’s called a Group Alternate Versions.
As to searching for ungrouped albums, I’m not sure how you can do that.
