Painter Felix Nusbaum died in Auschwitz in 1944 not 1994

The classical Grammy Award winning album “Contemporary Voices” by the Pacifica Quartet with Otis Murphy features Shulamit Ran’s String Quartet No. 3. It is a tribute to painter Felix Nusbaum, who died in Auschwitz in 1944. The Roon album review states the year of his death in Auschwitz was 1994.

Additionally, Roon inserts an additional artist, Canadian rock musician, Chris Murphy, which I deleted. I’m puzzled with how that happened.

Sorry the subject line should read Painter, not composer. We all make mistakes.
